80's Dancing!

My roommates, Kaitlyn, Jessica, and I, went 80's dancing last night! ha ha It was so fun! We decided to go full out 80's dress! I had the tight dance pants, leg warmers, and bright shimmering shoes and belts (thanks to my roommates and their wide variety of 80's attire)! Oh, and don't forget the BrIgHt purple eye shadow! We had so much fun! I think we had as much fun with our outfits as we did dancing. The best dress winner of the night was Jessica... she wore her mom's dress from the 80's! It was so funny! We were hot!

My New Apartment

I finally did it! I made the move to Orem last Thursday. It's been an adventure already but i love it! It's so fun having something going on or someone to hang out with pretty much anytime! A also love being so close to school! I'm just across the freeway from UVU so i'm even close enough to walk if i don't want to take my apartment's UVU shuttle.

I'm in a shared room and i have 5 roommates plus me so it's nice and cozy! I've decided that I could probably just about fit my kitchen, living room and my half of the bedroom into my old bedroom at home! ha ha But it's nice to have a little corner of my own :) This is my little 1/2 of the bedroom. One of the most fun parts is that my closet is behind the bedroom door so if people don't know i'm in the closet, i can get smashed when they walk in.... i know cuz it's already happened LOL

Last day at stampin' up!

I finally quit stampin' up last Tuesday :( It was very bitter sweet... exciting for my new adventure, but sad to leave all my friends and i knew i just wouldn't find such a great job in Orem. But I did it!
This is Nury (my first supervisor, in the warehouse), Sandra, and Marizela in pic one. In pic two is Manivone (my lead in the warehouse) with Irma. On my last day, I gave Irma my camera and asked her to take pics while walking around at work. She had too much fun I think! She even had pics of people I didn't know. That last pic (right) is of Steve (Canada call center supervisor), Kenton (call center manager), Courtney, and Casey. I'm already missing all my friends at SU!

Goodbye Stampin' Up dinner

Although I love Stampin' Up! ... i have decided to quit. So many people I work with in the call center thought it was such a great idea that they decided to do it too. Within about a week and a half span, 5 of us will have left/be leaving. So we decided to get together outside of work and have a goodbye dinner as a group.

We went to dinner at Apple Bees after work on Wednesday. We had such a blast! We should have done this long ago!

Aimee and her husband V. Their cute little guy Nathan came too.

Mikey, Malina & Rochelle. Malina is leaving because she'll be getting married to Mikey next week. She's moving to Provo... yay... She'll be close to me!

My amazing supervisor Jeremy Whitney (coolest last name ever!) and his adorable wife Kelly.

Dani and I... Dani's last day was yesterday (Friday) :( and mine is next Tuesday

Lana and Tara... (both two of the sweetest people ever!) And Tara's cute little guy Ty.

Me in a race car?!

I totally rode in my first real race! Brian drove his freakin' awesome Mazda in the midnight races last night at Rocky Mountain Race Way last night... and i got to ride as the passenger. It totally freaked me out at first but it was way fun! We raced the 1/4 mile race. I think our fastest time was about 16.9 sec!

Tiffy is home safe!

Tiff decided to give us all a heart attack this week by landing herself in the hospital. Her last day of girl's camp, Thursday, she went boating. She was wake boarding when she fell and hit her head on the wave. After she got in the boat, she slumped over on her friend's shoulder and became unresponsive so they had to call 911. I was the one at home so i got the call... they scared me to death because I just didn't know what was going on! It was such a blessing I was home because I would usually be at work, but had the day off. Tiffy first got an ambulance ride to the Heber hospital. She was able to get a blessing because the guys on the ambulance were RM's, which was another blessing. She than got life-flighted to Primary Children's Hospital where she was met by Dad and Josh. Ashley, mom, and I got there shortly after followed by Kam, Trey, and Tai. It was so scary to see Tiff so miserable laying in that emergency room bed and hooked up to wires and needles all over! But after all the tests and such, they came to the conclusion it was just a concussion and she was going to be o.k.! Mom stayed with her overnight and said that at 3 AM she woke up and finally became our Tiffy again! Instead of the sleepy, not-much-talking Tiff that we left that night, she had become talkative and ate pudding! Finally solid foods! By the time I talked to her the next morning, she was finally using the word "fabulous" again! Now she is home and safe! I am so happy to have her safe, happy, and at home! I told her she isn't allowed to do that to us ever again! ha ha
